5 PREPARING THE APPLIANCE FOR USE

Convey t he dishw asher t o t he inst allat ion sit e, remove t he packaging and check t he appliance and

component s for damage; any damage found must be report ed t o t he t ransport er in w rit ing. The packaging

component s (plast ic bags, expanded polyst yrene, nails, et c.) must not be left w it hin reach of children and

pet s since t hey are pot ent ially dangerous. All packaging mat erials used are environment-friendly. They can

be kept w it hout const it ut ing any hazard, or may be disposed of at a specialist w ast e disposal cent re. The

plast ic com ponent s suit able for recycling are marked as follow s:

PE - polyet hylene: ext ernal packaging film , bag cont aining t he inst ruct ions, prot ect ive bags.

PP - polypropylene: st raps used t o close t he packaging.

PS - expanded polyst yrene: corner guards, t op of packaging.

Wooden and cardboard component s can be disposed of in accordance w it h t he local regulat ions.

All operat ions described in t his sect ion must be carried out and/ or checked by t he qualified

st aff w ho inst all and comm ission t he dishw asher.

Place t he dishw asher in t he chosen point and rem ove t he prot ect ive film. Level t he dishw asher (w it h t he

aid of a spirit level) on it s four feet , adjust ing t hem t o ensure t hat it is st able. If t he dishw asher is inst alled

above t he ground, make sure t hat t he st and and dishw asher are secured properly and do not const it ut e a

hazard.

The syst ems and premises in w hich t he dishw asher is inst alled m ust comply w it h t he relevant

regulat ions.

If t he dishw asher is inst alled next t o anot her appliance, also check t he recommendat ions

provided by t he manufact urer of t he adjacent appliance.

Inst allat ions ot her t han t hose described must first be approved by t he manufact urer.

Use only professional furnishings and unit s in t he vicinit y of t he dishw asher. Any ot her t ypes

of furnishing may be damaged.
