Before performing welding on the machine, turn the
battery−disconnect switch to the OFF position, disconnect the wire
harness connector from the TECs and disconnect the terminal
connector from the 12 Volt alternator. Also, disconnect and remove
the Yanmar ECU. These steps will prevent damage to the machine
electrical system when welding.
