Minimal Set
The minimum interchange set of TIFF fields that must be supported by all implementations in order to
assure that some form of an image, albeit black-and-white, can be interchanged. The table below summa-
rizes the TIFF fields that comprise the minimal interchange set for black-and-white facsimile. The Baseline
and Extenuation fields and fields values must be supported by all implementations.
