Fax / Built-In TAM Automatic Switching Mode
The Fax / Built-in TAM Automatic Switching Mode is designed for the IC TAM included in the machine. This
mode automatically switches the telephone line between the Fax and the TAM. When a call is received, the
TAM answers the call first. During that time, the fax also monitors the line to determine whether it is a voice
or a Fax call. If it is a voice call, the TAM will continue to function. If it is a fax call, the machine will automat-
ically switch the line to fax and begin receiving the document.
