Voltage at PLC inputs / outputs is too low.
If the fault message 177 appears due to a mis-set system configuration, then simultaneously press for several seconds
all 4 operating keys and thus call up the configuration menu directly, and set the correct values there. Only then the fault
conditions are removed.

Fault messages, causes and remedies
Remedy
• Check sensor gap at meas. station 1
• Eventually perform a measuring channel
calibration.
• Use a calibration sheet with correct thickness,
• Check sensor gap at meas. station 2
• Eventually perform a measuring channel
calibration.
• Use a calibration sheet with correct thickness,
• Check sensor gap at meas. station 3
• Eventually perform a measuring channel
calibration.
• Use a calibration sheet with correct thickness,
Remedy
• Make sure that a calibration sheet is placed
between the sensors
• The sensors might be contaminated
Check timing diagrams concerning calibration
(see chapters 6.3.7 and 6.3.8)
Remedy
Install correct Firmware.
Call Roland service / exchange the system.
Set the correct sensor type in the configuration of
the unit,
Remedy
Check power supply.
Check power supply for PLC inputs / outputs
if required switch off PLC voltage monitoring in the
system parameters.
