8G-14 IMMOBILIZER CONTROL SYSTEM (IF EQUIPPED)
DTC41 FUEL INJECTION PUMP NOT REGISTERED
DESCRIPTION:
Immobilizer Control Module checks whether immobilizer system is locked with ignition switch OFF. If the system
is unlocked, DTC 41 is set.
INSPECTION:
STEP
1
Was "Immobilizer Diag. Flow Table"
performed?
2
1) Disconnect double relay at coupler.
2) Disconnect coupler at immobilizer
control module.
3) Is there continuity between E127-7
of immobilizer control module cou-
pler and C69-3 of double relay cou-
pler? See Fig.1.

1) Check resistance between E127-7
of immobilizer control module cou-
pler and body ground. See Fig.1.
Is it infinity (R)?
4
1) Read DTC according to "Diagnos-
tic Trouble Code Check" section.
Does Suzuki scan tool indicate DTC
41 again?
Fig. 1 for Step 2 and 3
1. Double relay coupler
2. Immobilizer control module coupler
ACTION
YES
Go to Step 2.
Go to Step 3.
D Poor E127-7 or C69-3 terminal
connection
D Faulty double relay
If all above are OK, register ECU
code in fuel injection pump ac-
cording to "Procedure after Fuel
Injection Pump Replacement"
section. And then go to Step 4.
Substitute a known-good Fuel In-
jection Pump and recheck.

NO
Go to "Immobilizer Diag.
Flow Table".
D "PNK/BLK" wire open
or,
D Poor E127-7 terminal
connection
"PNK/BLK" wire shorted
to ground
Go to "Immobilizer Diag.
Flow Table".
