Remove the two screws (A), and then remove the fan.

Note: Back up the eSF solutions and settings before replacing the controller board. For more information,
see "Backing up eSF solutions and settings" on page

Remove the right cover. See

Remove the controller board shield. See

Disconnect all cables from the controller board.
Installation warning: The cables (JCART1 and JLIFT) are not interchangeable. JCART1 connects to the
cartridge motor, while JLIFT goes to the lift motor. Plugging these connectors incorrectly could lead to
damage on the imaging unit.
