System recovers (power is re-supplied to electronic control unit) if signal be-
comes normal when starter switch is turned OFF → ON.
• Main injections only enabled.
• Common rail pressure upper limit provided.
• Injection rate limited to predetermined value.
• Exhaust gas recirculation control stopped.
