Clean the Inside of the Printer

Use the following procedure to clean the inside of the printer using either the sticky cleaning card
or the isopropanol-coated cleaning card. Do this procedure after you have cleaned the printhead
cam rollers using the sticky cleaning card.
1.
Power on the printer, if necessary.
2.
Unlock the input hopper lock, if necessary.
3.
Prepare the cleaning card.
Peel off the wrapper from the other side of the sticky cleaning

card.
If you are using the isopropanol cleaning card, open the

cleaning card package and remove the card.
4.
Insert the cleaning card.

Open the input hopper cover.
b.
Remove any unprinted cards.
c.
Insert the cleaning card into the input hopper.
