Using The Record Feature

The record feature enables you to record conversations and save them. (Installers
enable the record feature on a per-mailbox basis.) The voice processing system
allows you to access your voice mailbox and listen to the recorded conversations
just as you would a voice processing message.
1. When you answer or make a call, one of the following displays
appears:
Line 1
REC
Incoming Call Display
Ext 1021
REC
NOTE: Display options will differ somewhat if your telephone is operating behind a
DSUII system—see your installer for details.
2. Press REC to record the conversation into your mailbox
(depending on system programming, a recurring tone may sound
to indicate the call is being recorded) .
The system will display the words
RECORDING, PAUSE, and STOP.
You can pause or stop the recording by
pressing the appropriate interactive
button on your telephone. If the
system is unable to record, it will
display an error message for two
seconds.
3. If you press PAUSE, the recording
action pauses and the system displays
the words RECORDING PAUSED,
RESUME, and STOP.
· Press RESUME to restart recording;
· Press STOP to stop the recording.
