During Video Conference Calls
Changing the Setting of the Main Display (Main Site
only)
The settings of the site displayed as the main site during a call can be changed.
Note
•
When using a KX-VC1000 that has not been expanded for 4 Point Built-in MCU support, "Main
Position set." is not displayed in the communication menu.
1.
Press [MENU].
•
The communication menu screen is displayed.

Use [

The main display settings dialogue box that corresponds to the MCU mode (Page 77, Page 108,
Page 124) is displayed.

When using Discussion Mode
–
"Local Site": Displays your own site.
–
"Voice Activation 1": The party (caller) with the loudest volume during a call will be automatically set
as the main display.
–
"Voice Activation 2 (Local Site)": Your own site's image is fixed as the main display, and the party
(caller) with the loudest volume during a call will be set to display priority 2.
–
"Voice Activation 2 (Site 1)" to "Voice Activation 2 (Site 23)": The selected site is displayed as the
main display, and the site with the loudest volume at the time is displayed as display priority 2.
–
"Site 1" to "Site 23": Displays the selected site as the main display.
–
"Specified Position": Displays each site's image in the specified position.
When using Presentation Mode
–
"Site 1" to "Site 23": Displays the selected site as the main display.
–
"Specified Position": Displays each sub site's image in the specified position.
Note
•
"Specified Position" can only be selected when registering a profile (you can select any item other
than "Specified Position" while on a video conference call, but you cannot select "Specified
Position" again). For information about the displayed position when "Specified Position" is
selected, refer to the section about profile registration (Page 109, Page 109).
•
In the following situations, the current setting is displayed as "Voice Activation 2 (-)". You can
also select the switching method.
–
When a site has disconnected after you set "Voice Activation 2 (Site 1)" to "Voice Activation
2 (Site 23)".
