Changing the Settings for Audio Mixing Sites (Main
Site Only)
When "Other Site's Audio" is set to "Mix (Selection)", you can change the audio settings for sites whose
audio is mixed together. (Page 81, Page 108)
Note
When using a KX-VC1000 that has not been expanded for 4 Point Built-in MCU support, "Audio Mixing
Site" is not displayed in the communication menu.
1.
Press [MENU].
The communication menu screen is displayed.
2.
Use [

][
Audio mixing site setting dialogue box is displayed.
3.
Use [

] to select the sites whose audio will be mixed together and press [ENTER].
Press [ENTER] to select/deselect the desired sites. You can select up to 4 sites.
4.
Use [
][
] to select "Done" and press [ENTER].
Note
This setting is only available when "Other Site's Audio" in the communication menu (Page 81) or
"Other Site's Audio" in the profile setup (Page 108) is set to "Mix (Selection)".

Starting and Stopping Recording

You can start and stop recording during a video conference call. The recorded video and audio are saved on
the USB memory device connected to the back of the unit.
Note
For details about recording features, refer to "Using USB Recording Features (Page 183)".
You can also start and stop recording while idle (Page 132).

The communication menu screen is displayed.

The dialogue box to start or stop recording is displayed.
3.
Use [

] to select "Yes" or "No" and press [ENTER].
When not recording
Selecting "Yes" starts recording.
Selecting "No" does not start recording.
