Changing the MCU Mode (Main Site Only)
You can change the MCU mode during a video conference call.
Note
•
When using a KX-VC1000 that has not been expanded for 4 Point Built-in MCU support, "MCU
Mode" is not displayed in the communication menu.
1.
Press [MENU].
•
The communication menu screen is displayed.

Use [

The MCU mode settings dialogue box is displayed.

Use [

] to select the MCU mode.
–
"Discussion": The same image is displayed for the main site and sub sites. This mode is suited to
discussion-style conferences.
–
"Presentation": The main site sees a composite image including the sub sites, and the sub sites see
the image from the main site only. This mode is suited to lecture-style conferences.
Note
•
When ""Y" Button during MCU" in "GUI Settings" is set to "Discussion / Presentation", you can
switch the MCU mode by pressing [Y] (Page 154).
