A shortcut to fill the UID automatically:
Precondition: in the Customer Information tab, the Cloud ID field is empty. From the Link
tab, select any Communication Model, and click Connect. Cloud module UID appears.
Double click the UID, the UID is automatically filled into the Cloud ID field.

Network Connection with Domain Name
Use the Domain Name connect feature as another method to program the control panel using
a portable computer.

Direct Connection

The direct connect feature gives the installer a simple method to program the control panel
using a portable computer. Because telephone lines and modems are not required,
programming of the control panel is easily completed in min.
To use the direct connect feature, connect the Direct Link Adapter between the correct serial
port on your compatible computer and the auxiliary module socket on the control panel.
To use the direct connect feature, it is not necessary to select Option 1 Location 180. The
direct connect feature ignores this option.

Program Location 81 or 82 as Option 1,or 2, or 3 (enable Cloud Connection with the
alphanumeric codepad when Option 3 is selected). It is not necessary to program
Location 180. The IP connect feature ignores this option.
From the A-Link Plus Customer Information tab, click Search to find the control panel IP
address for the module according to network module's MAC address, and enter control
panel port number such as 7700.
Enter the cloud module UID in the Cloud ID field when the cloud module is connected
and Cloud Connection is enabled.
From the A-Link Plus Link tab, select Network Connect (TCP/IP SSL) or Network
Connect (Cloud), and click Connect.
Click Upload from Control Panel.
Connect the B426 or B426-M network module to the control panel using the SDI2 bus.
Program Location 81 or 82 as Option 1, or 2, or 3 (enable Cloud Connection with the
alphanumeric codepad when Option 3 is selected).
From the A-Link Plus Customer Information tab, instead of full control panel IP address
for the B426, enter the domain name, for example: Test123.BOSCH.com, and enter the
full control panel port number for the module.
Enter the cloud module UID in the Cloud ID field when the cloud module is connected
and Cloud Connection is enabled.
From the A-Link Plus Link tab, select Network Connect (TCP/IP SSL) or Network
Connect (Cloud), and click Connect.
Click Upload from Control Panel.
