Replacement
1. Mechanical deck removal
Remove the mechanical deck.
(Refer to Section 3-1-8.)
2. Harness connector disconnection
Disconnect the following harness connectors
from the SV-206 board.
. CN101 (from drum)
. CN701 (from dew condensation sensor)
. CN702 (from threading motor)
. CN601 (from AT head)
. CN703 (from tape top sensor)
. CN706 (from S brake solenoid)
. CN705 (from tension sensor)
. CN704 (from tape end sensor)
. CN401 (from full erase/CTL head)
. CN707 (from full top sensor)
At the back of SV-206 board
. CN201 (from capstan motor)
. CN304 (from S reel motor)
3. SV-206 board removal
Remove the six screws, then remove the SV-206
board.
4. SV-206 board installation
Install a new SV-206 board in the order of step 3
to 2.
5. Mechanical deck installation
Install the mechanical deck.
(Refer to Section 3-1-8.)
Adjustment after replacement
6. Servo system adjustment
(Refer to Section 7-3.)
7. Tape running adjustment
(Refer to Section 5-4.)
8. Video tracking adjustment
(Refer to Section 5-5.)
9. CTL head position adjustment
(Refer to Section 5-7.)
10. AT head position adjustment
(Refer to Section 5-8.)
