When Continuous Access XP Async, TrueCopy for z/OS® Async, and Continuous Access XP Journal
coexist in the same array, Continuous Access XP Async pairs, TrueCopy for z/OS Async pairs, and
Continuous Access XP Journal pairs cannot be mixed in one consistency group. If Continuous Access
XP Async pair has been allocated to Consistency group No. 00, TrueCopy for z/OS Async pairs and
Continuous Access XP Journal pairs cannot be allocated to Consistency group No. 00. Continuous
Access XP and TrueCopy for z/OS share the same cache sidefile area.

Combining Continuous Access XP and BC

You can assign Business Copy XP (BC) volumes to Continuous Access XP pairs, and assign Continuous
Access XP volumes to BC pairs.
Use Continuous Access XP and BC in the same disk array and on the same volumes to provide multiple
copies of data at primary and remote sites.
Access XP volumes, BC XP volumes, and Continuous Access XP/BC shared volumes.
