If you are using Command View XP, proceed with step 9. If you are using XP Remote
Web Console, no other actions are required.
9. When you are finished configuring this MCU, exit the Continuous Access XP main pane, and
disconnect the Command View XP management station from the disk array.
10. If needed, reconnect Performance Advisor XP to this disk array (running PA at the same time is
not supported).
1 1. Repeat step 4 — step 9 for each disk array that will function as a Continuous Access XP MCU.
After you configure MCUs, register RCUs, and configure Continuous Access XP async options and
consistency groups, you are ready to begin Continuous Access XP volume pair operations.

Combining Continuous Access XP with other data management operations

Some types of volumes used by non-Continuous Access XP and non-Continuous Access XP Async functions
can also be used as Continuous Access XP and Continuous Access XP Async P-VOLs and S-VOLs.
