Figure 25 History Operations pane
The History Operations pane contains the following items:
Status: Current status of history file. Possible values:
• No history file exist: History file does not exist.
• Reading a history failed: Failure occurred when referring to history file.
• Update history ... n (%): History file update is in progress. "n (%)" indicates progress (in %)
of updating process.
• Complete: History file update is complete.
When the updating process is in progress, the checking process automatically continues until the
updating process finishes. The updating process is checked at 10-second intervals.
Last Update: Date and time history file was updated.
History List: History information for Continuous Access XP pairs in the connected disk array.
Continuous Access XP history information is saved for seven days, and maximum number of
operations that can be saved is 65,535. By default, the list is in the order in which information is
received from the disk array.
History information older than seven days is automatically deleted. However, if the number of
operations exceeds 65,535, the oldest operations are deleted in chronological order to keep the
number at 65,535, even if the operations occurred within the last week. The history file always
contains the most recent operations up to a maximum of 65,535 operations. Maintenance information
for an entire week might not always be available.
History information can be sorted by column in ascending or descending order.
The History List displays the following information:
• Operation Date/Time: Date and time operation was completed.
• Start Date/Time: Date and time operation was started.
• Operation: Operations are:
• Pairing Start: Add pair operation was started.
• Pairing Complete: Add pair operation was completed.
• Pair Delete: Pair was deleted.
• Suspend Operation: Pair suspending operation was performed.
• Pair Suspend (Failure): Pair was suspended because of a failure.
• Pair Resync. Start: Resume pair operation was started.
• Pair Resync. Complete: Resume pair operation was completed.
