On different occasions you may notice that the
status indicators on the base unit are flashing. You
may find the following flash patterns helpful to you:

On The base unit is locating the handset.
Flashing The base unit is registering the handset.
On The base unit is connected to the wireless
LAN.
Flashing A wireless data transfer is in progress.
On A connection to LAN has been established.
Flashing A data transfer is in progress on the LAN
side.
