After any adjustments, repair or service and BEFORE use, make sure all attaching
hardware is tightened securely - otherwise injury or damage may result.

Folding/Unfolding the Wheelchair

DO NOT sit or transfer into the wheelchair unless it is fully open.
NOTE: For this procedure, refer to FIGURE 6.1.

Unfolding

When unfolding the wheelchair, DO NOT position fingers or hands between the
pivot links. Ensure ONLY open palms (and not fingers) are used to press down on
the crossbrace ends. Otherwise injury or damage may occur.
1. Open the two side frames.
2. Press down on the ends of the crossbraces with the palms of your hands (Detail ʺAʺ of
FIGURE 6.1).

Folding

1. Pull up on the strap (Detail ʺAʺ of FIGURE 6.1) between the crossbraces until the two
side frames come together.
