Removing rear light holder
1. Remove rear light as described in 6.10.16 Replacing rear
light (conventional), page 54.
2. Loosen and remove both Allen screws (1).
3. Replace rear light holder (2).
Refitting bulbholder
1. Install parts in reverse order.
2. Check all mobility device functions.

2. Loosen and remove both Allen screws (1).
3. Replace rear light holder (2).
Installing rear light holder
1. Install parts in reverse order.
2. Check all mobility device functions.

6.10.20 Replacing complete rear light (LED)

4 mm Allen key
13 mm socket wrench
Removing rear light
1. Remove rear and center shroud. See 6.8.1 Replacing
rear shroud, page 38 and 6.8.2 Replacing center shroud,
page 38.

Carefully note location of cable and connection locations
of various plugs. Either mark each plug and socket, or
take a photograph with a digital camera.

Loosen cable leading to lighting PCB from rear light
affected (2).

4. Loosen nut (1).
5. Lift off shroud (2) carefully.
6.
Open rear light plug (3) that is to be replaced.
7. The rear lights are only clamped in plastic casing.
Replace red rear light (1) or indicator (2) as required.
Cables are marked correspondingly.
Installing rear light
1. Install all parts in reverse order.
2. Tighten all screws finger-tight.
3. Check all mobility device functions.

Removing rear light holder
1. Remove rear lights as described in 6.10.20 Replacing
complete rear light (LED), page 55.
2. Replacing rear bulb holder (LED lighting unit).
Installing rear light holder
1. Install all parts in reverse order.
2. Test all functions.

6.11 Seating

This manual refers to configurations with Modulite seat
system. Older specifications have been described in
revision 12 of this service manual.
For seat systems, refer to the corresponding manual.

6.11.1 Back unit

Replacing seat support with manual tilt module
WARNING!
Risk of crushing
The seat/seat support is very heavy. Risk of injury
to hands and feet.
– Use proper lifting techniques.
TX 40 torx wrench
Oblique pliers
Cable ties
Removing seat support
1. Remove legrests.
2. Remove armrests.
3. Remove seat cushion.
4. Remove any existing cable ties holding cables on remote
or lighting. Remove cables from stuck on clamps.
5. Loosen cap nuts of headlight mountings. See 6.10.9

6. Put headlight and mounting in a safe place on rear part
of battery shroud.
7. Remove connecting cable to chassis from remote or
from optional actuator module.
