8. Remove cable or cables so that there is no longer any
cable connection between seat and chassis.

Remove pin retainer (3).
10. Remove pin (2).
11. Fold back seat.
12. Keep a firm hold on seat and seat support whilst
loosening and removing four torx screws (1).
13. Lift seat and seat support from lifter column.
Installing seat support
1. Install parts in reverse order.
2. Test all mobility device functions.
Replacing seat frame with manual tilt module (from Dec.
2010)
CAUTION!
Risk of crushing
The seat/seat support are very heavy. Injury
hazard to hands and feet.
– Use proper lifting techniques.
TX40 torx wrench

Removing seat support
1. Remove legrests.
2. Remove armrests.
3. Remove the seat cushion.
4. Remove any existing cable ties holding cables on remote
or lighting. Remove cables from stuck on clamps.
5. Loosen cap nuts of headlight mountings. See 6.10.9
Replacing front bulb holder (until 03/2012), page 52or
6.10.12 Replacing front bulb holder (until 03/2012) ,
page 53.
6. Put headlight and mounting in safe place on rear part of
battery compartment shroud.
7. Remove connecting cable to chassis from remote or
form optional actuator module.
8. Remove cable or cables so that there is no longer any
cable connection between seat and chassis.
9.
Remove pin retainer (5).
10. Remove bolt (2) and swing tilt adjustment assembly (3)
forward. If you loosen lower bolts also, for example to
replace tilt adjustment, pay attention to two distance
washers (4).
11. Fold back entire seat.

13. Lift seat and seat support from vertical column.
Installing seat carrier
1. Install parts in reverse order.
2. Test all functions.
Replacing seat support with electric tilt module
CAUTION!

8. Remove cable or cables so that there is no longer any
cable connection between seat and chassis.

11. Fold back entire seat.
12. Keep firm hold on seat and seat support whilst loosening
and removing four screws (1).
13. Lift seat and seat support from vertical column.
Installing seat carrier
1. Refit parts in reverse order.
2. Check all mobility device functions.
Replacing tilt actuator
Oblique pliers
Cable ties
Removing tilt actuator
1. Remove legrests.
2. Pull tilt actuator plug out of actuator module under seat.
