Function description for the system versions
Protect the instantaneous heating
water heater via a separate power
supply connection (230 V~). The heat
pump control unit regulates this func-
tion.
Power-OFF
It is possible for the power supply uti-
lity to shut down the compressor and
instantaneous heating water heater
individually or together.

System version 1

& The hydraulic diagram shows a
Vitocal 300-A, type AW-O-M.
& For type AWC-I-M, the secondary
pump and three-way diverter valve
are installed and electrically con-
nected inside the appliance (for
electrical connection, see from
page 71).
& The appliance starts immediately
after switching on; the insertion of a
jumper in the safety chain is not
required.
Preparing for installation

& Type AWC-I-M:
The instantaneous heating water
heater is installed inside the appli-
ance.
& Type AW-O-M:
The instantaneous heating water
heater is installed in the heating
water flow line inside the building.
This is done through switching off the
main contactor (see page 98).
This must not shut down the control
unit power supply.
