Preparing for installation
External heat pump type AW-O-M
Heating water connection E
Use the hydraulic connection
set (accessory), pre-assembled in dif-
ferent lengths. The connection set
comprises one flexible flow and one
flexible return line, in PE 32 x 2.9,
encased in a common thermal insula-
tion, plus two adaptors DN 32 to
R 1" (male).
&
Routing into the building:
Suitable pipe liner with wall seal
flanges H (accessories).
Fill & drain facility M for heating
&
water flow and return:
0.8 m below ground level, near the
external wall
or
For buildings at ground level:
Provide a thermally insulated duct
or enable drainage through com-
pressed air accordingly.
Power supply cable F to control panel
Outside the building, implement
power supply cable F to control
panel as an earth cable (NYY), or
route a NYM cable inside KG conduit
K (for sizing see technical guide).
Electrical connecting cables C, D
Route prepared electrical connecting
cables (control cable 230 V~ and LV
cable < 42 V) C and D inside KG
conduit DN 100 K. Protect the plug
fittings and plugs at the end of the
cables from dirt and damage (e.g. with
bubble wrap).

(cont.)
The frost protection of the control unit
is enabled provided the control unit
and the heating circuit pump are
ready for operation. If the heat pump
is taken out of operation or there is a
prolonged power cut, drain the system
via fill & drain valve M.
In heat pump systems where a power
failure would not be detected (holiday
home), the heating circuits can be
operated with suitable antifreeze.
Observe the regulations imposed by
your local power supply utility.
Ensure on-site wall duct G is moist-
ure and water-proof.
Required cable length inside the heat
pump: min. 2.5 m
Routing KG conduits K:
&
Provide a wire pull for electrical con-
necting cables C and D.
&
To facilitate the routing of electrical
cables C and D through the KG
conduit, avoid 90° bends; instead
use 3 x 30° or 2 x 45°.
