Overview of the PCBs and connection options
General information
Only the connections to be made are
shown in the following connection dia-
grams. Pre-allocated connections
made at the factory are explained in
the tables.
&
The total output of all components
connected directly to the control unit
(e.g. pumps, valves, message facil-
ities, contactors) must not exceed
1000 W (for all PCBs together).
If the total output ≤ 1000 W, the indi-
vidual rating of a component (e.g.
pump, valve, message facility, con-
tactor) can be greater than speci-
fied.
&
Route 230 V cables and LV cables
separately and bundle tightly near
the terminals. This ensures that, in
case of failure, for example when
detaching a wire, the wires cannot
drift into the adjacent voltage area.
PCB information
For PCB overview, see from page 70.
The terminal markings on the PCBs
(e.g. X1.2) are preceded by the
numbers 1 to 3 (e.g. 3X1.2). These
numbers are allocated to the three
PCBs:
3X1.2: Terminal 2 of terminal strip
X1 on PCB 3
1X1.?: Any earth terminal of term-
inal strip X1 on PCB 1
1X2.N: Any neutral conductor term-
inal of terminal strip X2 on
PCB 1

&
Strip the insulation as close to the
terminals as possible.
&
In the delivered condition, terminals
may have been pre-allocated (sub-
ject to appliance version).
If two components are connected to
the same terminal, press both cores
together into a single wire ferrule.
&
Neutral conductor and earth con-
ductor:
The neutral and earth conductors of
all components are connected to
terminal strips X1 and X2 of PCB 1
(cross connect PCB).
&
Sensors:
Nothing may be connected on site
to the following terminals of PCB 3
(sensor PCB) (pre-allocated intern-
ally):
F1, F5, F10, F11, F15, F19, F22
Other pre-allocated terminals sub-
ject to appliance version: F2, F3,
F9, F17, F18, F21, F23
