- Remove the spring supports.
NOTE
BLOW THE SEATS WITH COMPRESSED AIR TO FACILI-
TATE REMOVING THE SPRING SUPPORTS.
Checking the overhead camshaft
- Check the camshaft bearings for signs of abnor-
mal wear or scores.
- Using a micrometer, measure the camshaft bear-
ings.
