DTC 67 - 1 ( FRONT WHEEL SPEED
SENSOR NO SIGNAL )
NOTE :
• Before starting the inspection , check for loose or
poor contact on the
front
wheel speed sensor 2 P
( Blue ) , ABS modulator 18 P and PCM 33 P ( Black )
connectors
,
and recheck the DTC
.
•
If the PCM is replaced
,
perform the Clutch Initialize
Learning Procedure ( page 12

DTC Recheck
Erase the DTCs ( page 12
-
10 ) .
Test
- ride the motorcycle above 18 km / h ( 11 mph ) .
Stop the engine .
Check the DTC with the MCS
.
Is DTC 67

1 indicated ?
YES
-
GO TO STEP 2 .
NO
-
Intermittent failure

Check the ABS problem code ( page 20

Front Wheel Speed Sensor Line Open Circuit
Inspection
Turn the ignition switch OFF .
Disconnect the following :
-
ABS modulator 18 P connector ( page 20
-

PCM 33 P ( Black ) connector ( page 4
-
34 )
Check for continuity between the ABS modulator
18 P connector [ 1 ] and PCM 33 P ( Black ) connector
[ 2 ] terminals .
Connection :
Pink - A 33
TOOL :
Test probe , 2 packs 07 ZAJ

RDJA 110
Is there continuity ?
YES
-
GO TO STEP 4 .
NO
-
Open circuit in the Pink wire

Front Wheel Speed Sensor Line Short Circuit
Inspection
Check
for
continuity between the wire harness side
PCM 33
P ( Black ) connector [ 1 ] and ground
.
Connection

A 33 - Ground

Test probe , 2 packs 07 ZAJ - RDJA 110
Is there continuity ?
YES
-
Short circuit in the Pink wire
NO
-
Replace the PCM with a known good one ,
and recheck
