DUAL CLUTCH TRANSMISSION ( DCT ) ( CTX 700 D / ND )
Install the washer [ 1 ] onto the gearshift spindle [ 2 ] and
| f §§
insert the spindle into the crankcase while aligning the
return spring ends with spring pin and the spindle arm
hole with the drum shifter collar
.
Install the
following
:

Dual clutch ( page 12

68 )
-
Reduction gears/ shift control motor ( page 12 -
71 )

MAINSHAFT SENSOR
REMOVAL / INSTALLATION
NOTE :
The mainshaft sensors and VS sensor are
the same
parts .
Inner mainshaft
sensor :
Outer mainshaft
sensor
:
Remove the fuel tank ( page 7
-

)
.
Disconnect the inner mainshaft sensor 3 P ( Black )
connector [ 1 ]
,
then remove the bolt [ 2 ] and inner
mainshaft sensor [ 3 ]
,
Remove the ABS modulator ( page 20
-
23 )
.
Disconnect
the outer mainshaft
sensor
3 P ( Black )
connector [ 4 ] , then remove the bolt [ 5 ] and outer
mainshaft sensor [ 6 ] .
Remove the O
-
rings [ 7 ] from the mainshaft sensors .
Installation is in the reverse order of removal
.
• Replace the O
-
ring with a new one
.
•
Apply engine oil to a new O
-
ring
.

TR SENSOR
REMOVAL / INSTALLATION
Remove the left crankcase rear cover ( page
2

16 ) .
Release the TR sensor 3 P ( Black ) connector [ 1 ] from
the stay and disconnect it

Remove the two wire bands [ 2 ]
