Turn the ignition switch OFF .
Disconnect the
PCM 33 P
(Gray) connector

Check for continuity between the CKP sensor 2 P
( Red ) connector [ 1 ] and PCM 33 P (Gray) connector
[ 2 ] terminals

• Before starting
the inspection , check
for
loose or
poor contact on the shift spindle angle sensor 3 P
( Gray ) and PCM 33 P connectors , and recheck the
DTC
.
• If the PCM
is replaced , perform the Clutch Initialize
Learning Procedure ( page 12

Check the shift spindle angle sensor with the MCS

YES

GO TO STEP 2

Circuit Inspection
Turn the
ignition
switch
OFF
.
Disconnect the shift spindle
angle sensor 3 P ( Gray )
connector ( page 12

Turn the ignition switch ON and engine stop switch

Measure the voltage between the wire harness side
shift spindle angle sensor 3 P ( Gray ) connector [ 1 ]
terminals

Is the voltage within 4.75
