1. Fuel level indicator light LED
S Check the LED of the fuel level indicator
light.
Refer to "CHECKING THE BULBS AND
BULB SOCKETS".
S Is the fuel level indicator light LED OK?
YES
2. Fuel sender
S Disconnect the fuel sender coupler from the
wire harness.
S Drain the fuel from the fuel tank and remove
the fuel sender from the fuel tank.
S Connect the pocket tester (Ω
fuel sender coupler.
Tester positive probe ! green
Tester negative probe ! black/blue
S Measure the fuel sender resistance.

S Connect the pocket tester (DC 20 V) to the
meter assembly coupler (wire harness side)
as shown.
Tester positive probe ! brown
Tester negative probe ! black
S Set the main switch to "ON".
S Measure the voltage (12 V).
S Is the voltage within specification?
YES
Replace the meter
assembly.
6. A engine trouble indicator light fails to come
on.

S Check the LED of the engine indicator light.
