with a steel discard the retaining clipand
proceed as indicated in step 'd" below.

DRIVE GEAR
c. Installing Speedo Gear Removing Tools J 21427
and J 8433 and Bolts J 21904 on the output shaft,
remove the speedometer drive gear (Fig. 7E-87).
d. Install a new steel speedometer drive gear and
drive to location approximately 1 1 15/32" from
end of output shaft to rear face of gear for models
PA, PB, PC, PG and PH, to location 1 1 15/64"
from end of output shaft to rear face of gear for
