To set the font number to be used in PCL printing. The unit
assigns a number to each font.
Enter the font number from "000" to "056", using the dial
keypad.
• The default setting is "000".
Note
• If the font source in PCL (feature #768) is set to
"DOWNLOAD FONT", the default setting is "001".
• To print the font list, see page 133.

To set the font pitch/point to be used in PCL printing.
Enter the font pitch from "00.44" to "99.99", or the point
from "004.00" to "999.75", using the dial keypad.
• The default pitch is "10.00" and the default point is
"012.00".
• Whether this step is font pitch or point depends on the font
number selected in feature #769.

To set the symbol set to be used in PCL printing.

To set each behaviour when receiving CR, LF, and FF
codes.
– "CR/LF/FF": CR=CR, LF=LF, FF=FF
– "CR+LF/LF/FF": CR=CR+LF, LF=LF, FF=FF
– "CR/CR+LF/CR+FF": CR=CR, LF=CR+LF, FF=CR+FF

To set the length of time before the unit recovers if a memory
overflow occurs.

To change the data timeout setting. The unit will
automatically print the remaining data in memory when the
computer does not send data to the unit during the set time.
Enter the desired data timeout setting from 5 and 600
seconds, using the dial keypad.
• The default setting is "060" seconds.

This feature allows printing in A4-size even if letter-size
recording paper is loaded, and vice versa. When this feature
is activated, printing is possible between A4/letter-size.
Note
• This feature is not available for the multi-purpose tray.

When this feature is activated, the unit will print the error
information after a processing problem related to the page
description language (PCL or PostScript) occurs.
