HomeFill II 2000 psi Switch/P.C.B. Shut Down Test

NOTE: For this procedure, refer to FIGURE 9.3 on page 54.
Tools and Supplies Needed:
• 2000 psi test gauge
• Dedicated test concentrator
1. Warm concentrator up for 30 min.
2. Attach 2000 psi gauge end to HomeFill II connector fillport.
3. Turn valve on end clockwise to close.
4. Attach HomeFill II to your test concentrator, and set flow to 3 L/min (not shown).
5. After three minutes the HomeFill II will start to fill the test gauge, the needle will move
off of zero and begin to climb steadily.
6. The HomeFill II unit will shut down when the pressure reaches 2000 psi ± 100 psi:
If the HomeFill II unit exceeds 2100 psi without shutting down, manually turn the
unit off, otherwise damage to the unit can occur.
A. Watch the needle on the gauge to insure pressure does not exceed 2100 psi, if the
unit exceeds 2100 psi without shutting down, manually turn the unit off otherwise
damage to the unit can occur. If this happens replace the high pressure switch and
re-test. If unit fails this test again, replace P.C. board. Refer to Replacing Circuit
Board on page 28.
B. If the unit fails to reach 2000 psi within three minutes, a leak in the compressor
stages is present and the unit MUST be returned to Invacare for repair.
7. When the HomeFill II has completed the deadhead fill, it will shut down and state
FULL on the control panel.
8. Turn the HomeFill II Off.
9. Slowly open the valve counter-clockwise to bleed the pressure in the gauge line.
10. Remove the test gauge connector end from the connector fillport.
