Operation
Operating Instructions 669 PREMIUM - 00.0 - 11/2016
To change the needle:
1. Turn the handwheel until the needle bar (1) reaches the upper
end position.
2. Loosen the screw (2).
3. Pull the needle out towards the bottom.
4. Insert a new needle into the hole in the needle bar (1) until it
reaches the end stop.
Important
Align the needle in such a way that the groove (3) faces the hook (4).
5. Tighten the screw (2).
Order
Always adjust the clearance between the hook and the needle after
changing to a different needle thickness ( Service Instructions).
Disturbance
An incorrect hook distance can cause the following disturbances:
• Changing to a thinner needle:
• Missing stitches
• Thread damage
• Changing to a thicker needle:
• Damage to the hook tip
• Damage to the needle
