Function
Allows the operator to transfer a program from
an external device into POSITIP 880's program
memory.
Allows the operator to transfer a program from
POSITIP 880 to an external device (PC or
printer).
Refer to File Operations in chapter I-6, „Programming POSITIP 880".

Block Function Soft Keys

A block is a single step or a series of steps that make up a program.
Block function soft keys
Operating mode: PROGRAMMING
Press the BLOCK FUNCTIONS soft key.
Function
Change features in a range of blocks
Delete a range of blocks from current program
Copy a range of blocks within the current
program
Move a range of blocks within the current
program
Adjusts the end point of current block and start
point of the next block to the intersection point
of the two features
Adjusts the start point of current block and end
point of the previous block to the intersection
point of the two features
Adjusts the end point of current block and start
point of the first block in the path to the
intersection point of the two features
