PERIODIC MAINTENANCE

CHASSIS BOLTS AND NUTS

Tighten initially at 1 month and every 6 months thereafter.
Check that all chassis bolts and nuts are tightened to their specified torque. (Refer to page 2-21 for the loca-
tions of the following bolts and nuts on the motorcycle.)
1 Steering stem head nut
2 Front fork upper clamp bolt
3 Front fork lower clamp bolt
4 Front axle nut (DR-Z125)
(DR-Z125L)
5 Handlebar clamp bolt
6 Front brake master cylinder mounting bolt
(DR-Z125L)
7 Front brake caliper mounting bolt (DR-Z125L)
8 Brake hose union bolt (DR-Z125L)
9 Air bleeder valve (DR-Z125L)
0 Brake disc mounting nut (DR-Z125L)
A Front footrest bolt
B Brake pedal boss nut/bolt
C Swingarm pivot nut
D Rear shock absorber mounting bolt/nut
(Upper & Lower)
E Cushion lever bolt (Front)
F Cushion lever nut (Center)
G Cushion rod nut
H Brake cam lever nut
I Rear axle nut
