Under certain conditions, diesel fuel and fuel
vapors are highly flammable and explosive. A
fire or explosion from fuel can burn you and
others and can cause property damage.
• Use a funnel and fill the fuel tank outdoors,
in an open area, when the engine is off and
is cold. Wipe up any fuel that spills.
• Do not fill the fuel tank completely full. Add
fuel to the fuel tank until the level is 1 in.
(25 mm) below the bottom of the filler neck.
This empty space in the tank allows the fuel
to expand.
• Never smoke when handling fuel, and stay
away from an open flame or where fuel
fumes may be ignited by a spark.
• Store fuel in a clean, safety-approved
container and keep the cap in place.
3. Fill tank to about one inch below top of tank,
(bottom of filler neck). DO NOT OVERFILL.
Then install cap.
4. Wipe up any fuel that may have spilled to prevent a
fire hazard.

Check Cooling System

Service Interval: Before each use or daily
Capacity of cooling system is approximately 4 qts.
The cooling system is filled with a 50/50 solution of
water and permanent ethylene glycol anti–freeze.
1. Park machine on a level surface.
If the engine has been running, the pressurized,
hot coolant can escape and cause burns.
• Do not open the radiator cap when the
engine is running.
• Allow engine to cool at least 15 minutes
or until the radiator cap is cool enough to
touch without burning hand.
• Use a rag when opening the radiator cap,
and open the cap slowly to allow steam to
escape.
2. Check coolant level. Coolant should be up to
COLD line on reserve tank, when engine is cold.
1. Reserve tank
2. Hot line
3. If coolant is low, remove reserve tank cap and add
a 50/50 mixture of water and permanent ethylene
glycol anti–freeze. DO NOT OVERFILL.
4. Install reserve tank cap.
