Removing rear wheel

Preparatory work
Raise the motorcycle with the rear wheel stand. (
Raise the motorcycle with the front wheel stand. (
Remove front wheel. (
Main work
Remove screws

Clean the contact surface of the brake disc.
Position the brake disc with the label facing outward. Mount and tighten screws

Finishing work
Install the front wheel. (
Take the motorcycle off of the rear wheel stand. (
Preparatory work
Raise the motorcycle with the rear wheel stand. (
Main work
Press the brake caliper by hand on to the brake disc in order to press back the
brake piston.
Remove nut
Holding the rear wheel, withdraw the wheel spindle

Push the rear wheel forwards as far as possible and take the chain off the rear
sprocket.
Warning
Danger of accidents Reduced braking effect caused by damaged brake
discs.
Take the rear wheel out of the swing arm.

Do not operate the foot brake when the rear wheel is removed.
