Assembling the fork legs

These operations are the same on both fork legs.

Measure the run-out of the inner tube.

If the measured value is greater than the specified value:

Replace the inner tube.

Replace the outer tube.

Clamp the inner tube with the axle clamp.

Mount special tool.

Grease and push on dust boot

Always replace the dust boot, seal ring, lock ring, and support ring.
Install the dust boot with the sealing lip and spring expander facing down-
ward.
