Call Hold

Description
The system provides the following types of Call Hold:
•

System Hold

• Floating Hold (Retrieve Only)
• Exclusive Hold
• Broker's Hold
• Call Park (Station)

System Hold

You can place either an outside or intercom call on System Hold. You can retrieve a call placed on
System Hold from any extension that has a line appearance for the held call.
Operation
To place a call on System Hold:
1. While on a call, hookflash.
To retrieve a call placed on System Hold:
1. If onhook, go offhook.
2. Hookflash.
To retrieve a held call on a specific trunk:
1. Lift the handset.
2. Enter the Specified Trunk Answer code (default = *0).
3. Enter the trunk number.
