Fan Installation / Removal - Regency L390E Owners & Installation Manual

Note: Instructions on installation are only required if fan was not installed
with L390E or HZI390e only. To access the side and rear access pan-
els both the gas and venting (see vent/fl ue installation in this manual)
will need to be disconnected for proper removal. There is no access
to the blower from the front of this appliance.
Before you begin:
Shut off the gas supply to the unit.
Disconnect all electrical supply to the unit.
Always let the appliance cool to room temperature before servicing.
1) Remove 7 screws and loosen 5 screws along the bottom to remove fan
access panel -see Diagram 1a
Remove 4 screws to remove side access panel - see Diagram 1b
= Remove
= Loosen
2) Position gasket between fan and back access panel as shown below in
Diagram 2.
3) Secure fan and gasket to back access panel with 3 screws in locations
shown below in Diagram 3.

4) Install the thermodisc by sliding it into the bracket as shown below in
Diagram 4.

5) Thermodisc should be installed with red wires front and back as shown
below in Diagram 5.
6) Install a grommet where the wires pass through the side access panel.
7) Connect the wires from the wire harness to the fan terminals (see
Diagram 7a)and connect the other end to the wires of the fan control box
(see Diagram 7b).
