9.5 Registering the FAX ID Displayed at the Destination
When you register your name and telephone number as ID, that information will be
displayed on the destination FAX display panel, administrator reports and the like.
Registering your FAX ID makes it easier to identify who your FAX is from for the
destination.
Tip
Up to 12 alphanumeric characters and symbols may be used for the ID.
The registered ID can be changed using the same procedure as used for regis-
tration.
Note that some FAX machines do not have a function for displaying the ID in-
formation. In that case, the FAX telephone number that you registered will be
displayed.

How to Register and Change the FAX ID

Bring up the Administrator Management screen according to "Displaying the
Administrator Management Menu" on page 9-2.
