❏ The Internal Print Server is set to the default IP address
"192.168.192.168". This private IP address may cause conflicts on
your network. To prevent this, you must confirm that the same IP
address does not already exist on the network before connecting the
Internal Print Server to the network. If it does, turn off the device
which has the same IP address, then change the default IP address
of the Internal Print Server.
Setting the IP Address on the Printer's Control
Panel
After connecting the printer to the network, you need to set the
IP address for the Internal Print Server.
To set the IP address, subnet mask, and default gateway from the
control panel, follow the steps below.
1. Turn on the printer.
2. Press the SelecType button until Test Menu appears.
3. Press the Menu button until Network Menu appears.
4. Press the Item button to enter Network I/F = On.
5. Press the Item button to enter Network Config = No. Then
press the Value button to enter Network Config = Yes. Press
the Enter button.
6. Press the Item button to enter Get IP Address = Panel. The
following methods of acquiring the IP address are supported.
Panel: Choose Panel to setting the IP address, subnet mask,
and default gateway using the printer's control panel.
