8.3 CONSOLE ERROR CODES

CODE DESCRIPTION
01AC Electro magnet over current.
01AF The electro magnet is
disconnected.
02A0 Encoder error.
02BE DC brake error.
02BF DC brake over current.
02C0 DC brake in manual mode.
02C1 Speed tracking error.
0440 Timeout packet received.
0441 Correct packet received, but the
LCB has no function.
04A0 Communication disconnected.
04B0 UCB no communication response.
0249 Fan over current.
024A Safety switch error.
024B One step sensor error.

CHAPTER 8: TROUBLESHOOTING
CONDITION
The electro magnet current is between 1.6 - 2.0
amps for a continuous 60 seconds or over 2.0
amps for 1 second.
The electro magnet current <200mA for over 2
seconds.
In the workout, the speed is not detected by the
proximity sensor for 5 continuous seconds.
The brakes in the lock position, but speed is not
zero for 5 continuous seconds.
The brake current is over 1 amp for 3
continuous seconds.
The brake is in the unlocked position when in
standby mode.
The speed tracking accuracy is off by over 10
RPMs for 20 continuous seconds.
Over 500 messages. LCB cannot receive any
more data.
LCB not supporting the command.
There is a packet gap of over 5 seconds
LCB has no message to return to the UCB for
over 5 seconds.
The fan control current >..14 amps for 5
continuous seconds.
No data received for over 5 seconds.
The speed is not zero, and the system cannot
detect a signal from the step sensor for 10
seconds.
SOLUTION
1. Check the connection of the electro
magnet wire.
2. Check that the resistance on the
electro magnet. It should be 13.5 (+/-
5%) ohms under normal conditions.

on the LCB flashes.

normally off.
