The Port forwarding configuration has four parameters as follows:
Local port
The source TCP or UDP port number
Remote IP
The destination IP address
Remote port
The destination TCP or UDP port number
Protocol
TCP or UDP
For example, when a device whose IP address is 172.16.0.10 runs as a Web server, the configuration
should be as follows:
Local port: 8080
Any TCP port number except Telnet(23), SSH(22), HTTP(80) and HTTPS(443) port
These ports are already used by the Parani-MSP1000 for configuration.
Remote IP: 172.16.0.10
Remote port: 80
Protocol: TCP

4.4. FTP configuration

The Parani- MSP1000 provides FTP(File transfer profile) service. Mobile phones, PDA s and PCs are
able to upload and download any file to/from the Parani-MSP1000.
FTP service
When this value is "Enable", the Parani-MSP1000 provides the FTP service.
Base directory
The directory for the FTP service. User space(2MB), ram(8MB) and cf-card are available.
Please note that if the directory is "RAM", the files will be stored in the ram. The files will be
removed when the Parani-MSP1000 restarts.
