5. When the next message is displayed,
to read the parameters file that has
been created, insert the Configuration
Diskette into the floppy disk drive
and select [Yes]. To create a new
parameters file, select [No].
When the OS wizard has been started
and [Yes] has been selected, insert the
floppy disk, and read and confirm the
parameters file.
If you select [No], follow the wizard
and enter the parameter.
IMPORTANT:
Allocate the partition to install the OS in the size that is bigger than the required
minimum size. (See page 4-6.)
If you select [Use Existing Partition] in [System Partition], information about
the first partition will be formatted and erased all. Information on other
partitions will be retained.
If an existing hard disk drive partition that has been upgraded to the dynamic
disk remains, you cannot reinstall OS (refer to page 4-15). Do not select [Use
Existing Partition] in [System Partition].
When you select [Use Existing Partition] in [System Partition], if the partition
to be reused only exists, reserve the maximum disk space and install Windows
Server 2003.
You cannot move to the next window, if the settings that you have made are
incorrect.
If you finish entering the parameter, the next
window is displayed.
To save the parameters file on the floppy disk, select
[Yes] and enter the file name. To save it only on the
hard disk, select [No].
