6.3.3- Auto Pan
Auto Pan moves the camera to preset points in a fluid motion (panning) showing images between the points. The pan starts at a
configured Preset Point, and moves to the next point until the configured stop point is reached. Preset Point numbers that have no
configuration will be ignored.

Using Auto Pan
Note: Preset Points must be configured in order to use Auto Pan. See section
A-1. Select Auto Pan in the PTZ controls to open the Auto Pan menu.
A-2. Select a time for the Auto Pan to run in the Run Period field.
A-3. Select a stop time, focus mode, and pan speed to use for the Auto Pan.
A-4. Select a starting, and ending Preset Point.
A-5. Select the Play button next to Auto Pan to start the pan.
The pan will run for the time selected in the Run Period selection field, and can be stopped at any time by selecting the
Pause button next to Auto Pan.

Opens and closes the Auto Pan settings menu.

Run Period
Amount of time in minutes for running Auto Pan.

Stop Time
Amount of time to stop on a Preset Point before moving to the next.

Sets the speed for navigation of the camera.

Start Point
Preset Point to start the Auto Pan.
7.
End Point
Preset Point to stop the Auto Pan. The end point must be higher than the
start point.

Patrol Auto Pan Control

Pause
Camera will automatically focus on the image based on current
lighting and distance to objects.
Camera will focus based on the setting saved with the Preset
Point.
Starts the Auto Pan at preset selected in item 6.
Stops the Auto Pan at preset selected in item 7.
