Action
Make sure that the printer is not set up to print black
only. If the printer is set up correctly, check the Black
Retract (BOR) Motor and gears for correct operation.
If the gears are operating correctly, replace the
Retract Motor Assembly. See

Check the Paper Type setting. If Transparency is set
when the print media should be paper or card stock,
image development may stop. Do the following:
1. Turn the printer off and leave it off for 30 seconds.
2. Turn the printer on.
3. On the operator panel, press Menu (

5. Select Paper Type, and press Select (
6. Select the tray you need to change, select the
proper setting, and press Select (
