Access Gateway mode default port mapping

The Embedded Switch Module can contain 26 total ports. Out of these, ports 1-18 are F-ports. Port
0 and ports 19-25 are N_Ports. Following is the list of factory-default F_Port to N_Port mapping for
the Access Gateway mode.
NOTE
All ports have failover and failback enabled

Interpreting POST results

Once installed, the Brocade 6545 16 Gbps FC Switch Module is managed by the Fujitsu PRIMERGY
BX900 S2 or BX400 Blade Server Management Blade (MMB). For specific information about
managing the Switch Module, refer to documentation that comes with your Fujitsu PRIMERGY
BX900 S2 or BX400 Blade Server.
The Power-on Self Test (POST) system check is performed each time the Switch Module is powered
on, rebooted, or reset. During the POST, the LEDs are activated in various indicator patterns.
To determine whether POST completed successfully, or whether any errors were detected:

1, 2, and 17 mapped to 19
3, 4, and 18 mapped to 20
5, 6 mapped to 21
7, 8 mapped to 22
9, 10 mapped to 23
11, 12 mapped to 24
13, 14 mapped to 25
15, 16 mapped to 0
19-25 and 0 as N_Port
Verify that the LEDs on the Brocade 6545 16 Gbps FC Switch Module indicate a healthy switch.
LED patterns are described in
If one or more LEDs do not display a healthy state, verify that the LEDs are not set to beacon.
Use the switchShow command or Web Tools to verify the LED state. For information about how
to turn beaconing on and off, refer to the Fabric OS Administrator's Guide or the Web Tools
Administrator's Guide.
Use the Fujitsu PRIMERGY BX900 S2 or BX400 Blade Server Management Blade (MMB) to
verify that the Switch Module is working correctly.
For details, refer to the PRIMERGY BX900 S2 Basic Unit Operating Manual.
Review the system log for errors.
Any errors detected during POST are written to the system log. This log is accessible through
the errShow command. For information about this command, refer to the Fabric OS Command
Reference. For information about error messages, refer to the Fabric OS Message Reference.
