CLEANING THE PILOT AND THERMOCOUPLE

The pilot flame can create a carbon deposit on the pilot and
thermocouple. To remove that deposit, use a steel wool and gently
scrub the metal parts. This will make ignition more efficient.

The electronic ignition system of this appliance requires four 1.5 V AA batteries to operate when it is not
plugged into a wall socket in the house (or during a power outage). If the batteries are dead and there are no
spark where the pilot is, replace the batteries.
